Corpus Christii - The body of Christ

Corpus Christii Thao broke for me.
Three cruel nails pierced Thy palms and feet,
Oh! corpus Christii they peeled Thy very skin out of Thee.

Thao bore the pointed wires on Thy back, the hunter and the sticks of rejection so silently.
They scraped every inch of Thy corpus,oh! it was the limit of brutality.

They took Thy linen and casted lots for it,
gave Thee a mocking royalty and made the thorny crown on Thy head to sit.

They marched Thee on the city streets with wounds exposed that shouted to the stone hearts to come and believe.
yet they so easily nailed Thee to the tree,oh! wicked souls,no they did not grieve.

All this did not yet satisfy them and they punctured finally Thy side too,
still oh Christii Thao hung there and prayed so earnestly "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

Thao took every bit of their sins and gave Thy spirit in the hands of Thy father,
Thao knew they will spit on Thee, slap Thee and curse Thee, still Thao drank the cup in Gethsemane saying to the Lord 'not my will but Yours rather.'

Oh! corpus Christii Thao gave Thy blood to cleanse me,
ascending to heaven oh! corpus Christii,Thao sealed in Thy kingdom a perfect place, just for me.
