When Silence becomes worse than words...

Silence, the most beautiful of words,
Hangs down your mind like a jewel in place.
It's voice you hear deep within your spirit.
It's peace is that which you can not replace.

In joy you hardly go to meet it,
In sorrow it comes running by your side.
You love it dearly when you're angry,
Some times in its bosom you even wish to hide.

But when you're injured in your very soul,
You bid the silence harsh goodbye.
When words become your new refuge,
Silence pierces and perseveres with another try.

Then silence becomes worse than words,
Worse than breathing the hurt you got;
It kills you the moment you wake up every day,
Then leaves your body to stink, decay and rot.

Crimson stains declare your death all day long,
You walk like snow white locked in her glorious coffin box.
Silence still comes knocking, ready to consume your bones,
Then it becomes worse than words;
as it slowly chews off even the marrow with sweet groans.
