This Is Our God

You saw your child in trouble;weeping, silent and shattered.
You were there to help;full of love, which equally on the whole earth is scattered.
But Your child denied Your touch,struggling on her own;
forgetting the very promises of her living God that He'll never leave her alone.

You saw her in pain, wanting to be closest to her at this time.
but she has closed her eyes, resisting Your wings and the light with which Your mercies shine.
You followed her in the darkest valleys, the long-long nights,
even to the lowest pit and to the emotional heights.
She faced mighty brunts but she did not return,
and You were yet on her siege, knowing that one day she will surely turn.
You pierced her heart daily with the sword of Your word,
this one child of Your's mattered even more than a tiny little bird.

And the day was here...
When Your great-great love won all hatred,
when from the tree the drops of Your blood made her holy and sacred.
When she saw what tortures her Father had suffered only for her sake,
when she realized she was saved from the fiery cruel lake.
When she humbly repented and said Father forgive me;hoping, looking up,
and then You took all her agony and poured it silently in Your own cup...
